Good couple of weekends racing in Puy St Vincent
With the snow that has fallen in the last couple of weeks, the club was able to build the boarder cross course in Puy St Vincent.
So after organising the Regional races last weekend under a nice blue sky, this weekend was the turn of the usual European Cups. The weather wasn’t as good with a snowfall on thursday evening and then some variable weather with snow, wind, fog and some blue sky over the next 3 days. But thanks to the great work from the volunteers, trainers and members of Ecrins Snowboard we were able to run the 2 races.
A great weekend of racing with about 100 racers from all around Europe including some World Cup riders from Italy, Switzerland and France. Here is a link to a little video on the local news.
